airtime247 Posted August 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2007 I've searched these boards and RCI's web site but haven't found a good way to do this. We'll be sailing on the Mariner of the Seas with some friends this October. We would like to surprise one of them with a spa treatment. We would like to save the surprise until we get to the terminal or once we board the ship but it appears that a gift certificate would have to be redeemed ahead of time by her. I know she would never let us pay for it which is why we need to pay ahead of time and not after the spa. Any suggestions? Thanks, Steve

Thanks, Steve There are several different ways to do it once you are onboard. We have done it both ways. We have just gone to guest relations and had them apply money to the person's seapass card and then told the person it had already been applied. We have also gone to the spa and paid for the service and the tip before the treatment so then when the person went it was already covered.
