The price for the cabin has gone up $400 per person since I booked it. If I called my TA to see if I could switch to a different cabin, within the same 8G category, would it be an even swap (maybe having to pay some small fee) or would I have to pay the new price? 668kris Posted August 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2007 Nope - i just changed my cabin (same category, just from starboard side to port side) right after final payment. No problem and no additional charges. However, i thought for some reason that if i changed AGAIN to a balcony guaranteed, that I would have a better chance to get upgraded to a suite - they said NO and they were not able to switch you from an assigned room to a guaranteed after final pyament.
