lovetoleave Posted August 25, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted August 25, 2007 These days most ships are well equipped to handle medical problems, but if you want to see what it was like when "cruising" was just getting popular, check out http://www.avidcruiser.com/geoff/?p=
lovetoleave Posted August 27, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted August 27, 2007 In looking at some of the questions posted about lifeboat drill, and thinking of the passengers on a few ships who stood with their jackets unbuckled, and a beer in hand, it made me recall why I always pay particular attention to where I am supposed to go and the alternate routes to get there. My lesson came from a luxury cruise ship that came very close to sinking. That night's story is at http://www.avidcruiser.com/geoff

lovetoleave Posted September 7, 2007 Author #9 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Usually I lose 3 pounds when I cruise. It's easy to do, but sometimes hard to overcome the stereotypes. Take a look at www.avidcruiser.com/geoff
