I am looking for a model of Celebrity Mercury. Do you have any ideas as where I can find one. It will complete my collection of ships I have cruised on. They did not have models on board when I cruised but they do now. Celebrity will not sell me one saying they are only available for purchase onboard. We cruised on Regent Seven Seas Navigator this winter and had no expectations of finding a model of her. I did on eBay and it arrived yesterday and is realty nice.

Thanks:

Steve

Here are the Montego Products models in my collection, from left to right you have the QE2, Sagafjord, Cunard Princess, Royal Viking Sea, Fairsea, Fairsky, Royal Princess, Rotterdam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Tropicale. They are pretty nice models.

I collect them too. I buy the inflatable ships and in spare time on the cruise, i sit on my balcony and blow the ship up. I have the Majesty of the Seas and the Carnival Valor! I will soon be going on the Oasis of the Seas, and I was told that there is a very detailed design of Oasis for $50.00! I can't wait to get it!

Thats more than a collection. Thats got to be a pretty damn big fleet.........

Impressed.

Only one person I know that would have a fleet that big and that's Thad Considine; his collection is HUGE and I do mean HUGE.

I have an inflatable "Titanic" complete with battery powered prop for pool fun. But, the inflatable iceberg is kind of tacky.

Does anyone have a model of the Celebrity Century, Mercury, or Galaxy? Each time I went on these ships they didn't have any. It was a while ago, most back in the 90's, and I don't think they made models then. If anyone is going on the Century or the Mercury in the near future, would it be possible to pick one up for me? Thanks!

*sigh* I've decided to get into this after passing up an Oasis in favor of the ship ornament... but I've gotten Mariner of the Seas and hopefully, Carnival Triumph.

So... even though it's not the same size, I have a Tahitian Princess (now Ocean Princess) I'm willing to trade for a Caribbean Princess. I have to look in the basement for another RCI ship I'm willing to trade for either Norwegian Dawn or Disney Wonder.

But first things first: Tahitian Princess for Caribbean Princess. Email me at alertfive [at] yahoo.com.

I cannot believe after a 8yr hunt for the Nordic Empress I finally got it. I could not believe how high they were on ebay fecthing over $100 in some cases.

Oh yeah i also scored an S.S. Seabreeze and a Dolphin IV from Dolphin cruise lines. This last sept. These were mine and my wifes first cruise ships.

I, too, have had some great success - in short order got Mariner of the Seas, Caribbean Princess and Carnival Triumph, and I just scored Norwegian Dawn. Just have to pick up Disney Wonder and Oasis (when I get the on-board model I'll put up my ornament for sale.)

eBay is where I've found models, although it appears that a particular voluminous seller has increased her base asking price from $19.99 (with a BIN of $44.99) to $54.99 and $64.99. For a hard-to-find model that rarely comes up, I don't mind, but still... I'm glad I picked up one model at the $19.99 base price since another one (from the same seller) is now $54.99 base.

I was looking through this thread because my collection of ships is incomplete. I neglected to pickup a model on my first two cruises (Marnier of the Seas, and Explorer of the Seas). My wife an I have reciently decided to sail on Marniner again this spring, so that ment that I was only short the Explorer... I searched through here, and E-bay, and Google with no luck at all. Then it donned on me. My parents are taking a cruise in March from New Jersey, and guess which ship they're on! EXPLORER!!! :D

yay!
