no knee strength ,, but you need arm strength to hold on ..

and you have to be able to get on it from the beach or in the water.. like straddling it like a horse... its not very hard,, im a plus size gal, and we have a new seadoo waverunner ( jet ski ) and i ride it , and get on with no problems..

heres a pic when my cousins were riding it in mexico

We have two of them also and I'm plus size as well and ride ours all the time. You are likely thinking more about the stand up kind. Those are hard to find to rent. Most people want a three seater to ride on.

Melika- do you know how much your cousins paid to ride and for how long. We are looking to do this on our upcoming cruise. I think it'll be cool to ride on the ocean instead of a lake.

When my friend and I went last year, we both rented one for $35 for 30 minutes, with a boat ride back to the pier thrown in. It was a hoot - but wear googles as the salt water will get in your eyes.

It was hard on my arms, not my knees - though you may want to raise yourself up a bit to prevent your, um, butt from getting sore.

Thanks. Hopefully the water will be reasonably calm when we're there.
