I bring all the following:

coffee pot

blender

crock pot

small refrigerator

iron

curling iron

hair dryer

3 - extension cords with spaces for six plugs

Foreman grill

electric razors (his and hers - rechargable)

popcorn maker

hot plate

one small sauce pan and skillet

over the door shoe holder (for cosmetics)

BB gun to shoot out neighbor's balconey lights

fishing poles

inflatable pool

night lights

sheets and pillowcases

ice chest (I don't drink soda or beer - it just a good portable seat to have in the cabin)

Bubba mug

bathrobe (so I can go to the buffet in my PJs)

tranquiler dart gun (in case of obnoxious children or drunks)

door decorations (including strings of lights)

blow up doll (to save chair by pool)

duct tape and bungee cords (never used them in 30 years of cruising, but you never know)

I don't think I have forgotten anything.;)

Can I borrow the tranquilizer dart gun? We might not be on the same floor!

Also, please bring 2 dolls for saving my chair...and if possible can you bring along some bedbug spray just in case the little critters have been in someone else's suitcase? :D

Could you please share how you smuggle the BB gun on board with the new security measures in place. I like the idea - but am afraid it would get me left on the pier. And the only thing worse than not being able to enjoy a nice, dark night at sea is to not be able to enjoy a nice, dark night from shore.......:D

Personally I like to bring my own fondue set. Have to pack the fondue forks in my luggage though. We do chocolate fondue with fruit from the Windjammer. Later on in the day we do a cheese fondue while we wait for dinner. Yum. Yum.

Okay I''m gonna be the one to ask....R U Serious? LMBO what do you tell the security peeps when they ask what the "fondue" pot is? LOL :D

I guess the forks could also be used for those "unruly" children..you know while standing in line for dinner, shows etc...:D :D

Since HOMOSASSA is bringing so much stuff I guess I should do my part and bring the following:

Plunger (u never know)

life vest (don't wanna wear one that someone else has had on u know?)

Bullhorn (gotta get them folks off my deck chair someway)

Towels (like them Downy fresh)LOL

OMG!!! I forgot the fondue pot, Raid, battery operated weather radio, inflatable life raft and survival supplies!

The fondue pot is the least of your worries. With the limited electrical outlets and current available to your cabin, you'll also need to be sure you bring your portable diesel generator. Make sure you have a balcony cabin for that, though, or at the very least, bring along your carbon monoxide detector.

Another handy item would be a porta potti. When the bathroom is occupied, you have an alternate. You could set it up right on the balcony. I guarantee you though the people next door would be down at Purser's desk begging them to put a smoker in place of the Porta Potti people. Of course it would all depend on the wind direction.

I do just have to comment, real popcorn does not come from a microwave.

Something I have been tempted to bring is a hammock for the balcony. Just line up a couple buckets of beer, and swing in the breeze.

Be nice if the room service phone reached the balcony.
