Don’t lurk, dear Andy, whatever you do

Don’t lurk because you’re afraid.

All the C-posters are waiting for you

As Host, you should not evade!

Carol

(How 'bout some Cole Porter or Gershwin next?)

Isn't he the one that sang, "Don't you Step on my Blue Danube!"?

No no! don't shoot me, I'm a nice person :D

Aw, heck, Casshew! You can't fool me Shoot's just sht with to O's!

So skip the Aug 8th with all that fol-de-rol and do the double crossing with us! Your daughter will love it! Do some NYC shopping on the return before heading back to the hinterlands!

Karie,

who is throwing caution (and money!) to the winds!

What the heck, it's only money!

No doubt we would have a wonderful time! :) Unfortunately, I cannot afford April because my August 08 crossing + 5 Nights in NYC + 5 Nights in London + flight to NYC + home from London is costing a small fortune.

That's were there aren't enough deck chairs to go around so you go out EARLY in the morning, plant your stuff on several chairs...go back to bed..have breakfast THEN come out to "your" chairs...it's supposed to be a no-no but I'm told is practised on several of those other lines. I have also read that it can get really ugly when the chairs run out yet look occupied...for hour after empty hour. Not nice....

Cheers, Penny

You're right: we'll be getting on at the end of the World Cruise and who knows what--or whom--we'll find on board!!! Nothing like a rousing round of singalong to revive everyone's spirit. Besides, don't you think it's about time we had an official CC Song? And what better time to introduce it than on my birthday??? We can rehearse the night before..

M-L

Oooh, you've just made me think of a new game. Guess The Tune That Goes With The Lyrics We've Substituted For The Real Ones.

Commmmmmm! O dore Club

Where the windows face into the rain

All drinks are a treat

And Cunarders meet

There to laugh and chat but not complain...!

Oy!

Hey, did you know that Oy! in Mandarin means the same as Oy! in Yiddish? :D

It's okay, Paul. They only allow hogs in the kennels on Trans-Atlantics.

And Chair hogs! Well, they're a relatively rare breed, not general seen on Cunard.

It has to do with breeding.

Some kind of 4F thing...or is it 4H, I forget. Anyway. Something to do with some kind of Fair? Or no more than fair? (8)

Anon,

(So I don't get in trouble!)

That was carl perkins not cole porter but I could see where since they have the same initials you might be confused.

Charlie

How 'bout Chuck Perdue (of chicken fame)? Talk about thread drift!?!?!?!

Never was an Elvis fan (it's generational, not sacrilegious) so I'll be lost real quick if that's where this is going!

rethinking about signing my name to the post. Maybe I will switch to Paul Hacker. That way I can get into every state room on all of the ships.

Sailed away this morning

On a great ship for some fun

“Mama always said” QE2 would be

The Chosen One.

She said: None can compare

You’ve got to sail her ‘til the end

But rooms are sparse you’ll have to spend

‘til a blue moon hits the skies.

(sorry "Tony" -- badabing!)

Carol (I think I have to get out more!)

I'm in love with a beautiful liner

I'm in love with a beautiful ship

Will you excuse my most biased of views

When I haven't yet taken the trip?

...

I'm in love

I'm in love

I'm in love

I'm in love

I'm in love with a beautiful ship!

Carol

I'm as corny as Kansas in August

High as a flag on the Fourth of July

If you'll excuse and expression I use

I'm in love with a wonderful guy

Oh Andy, wherefore art thou!??

Wherefore art thou? Wherefore are thou?

Andy, Host: Why no post?

This is such a fun crowd.

We're not rude; we're not loud.

Where are you???? You're overdue!!!!

Carol (I think I need sustenance!) :D

Stop it you evil temptress, stop drawing me in with your siren song...

I won't be able to pull her out of school again like I have been. (I'm Pulling her out for 3 weeks in November for a Princess Egypt/Aegean cruise) There is no way I could pull her out again so soon.

We have to go in July or August :( but I would really love to meet you.

Hey, you could always sail with us?

Karie,
