Living in Galveston we frequent Stinagree. And love it.

Especially the 23.95 oyster jubilee for two. 40 or so prepared various ways.

However, with the ferry ride, ferry waits and distance,

it can be an adventure. Do it for sure, if you have the time.

facing the water. Next to Willie G's .

Treat yourself to dinner at Rudy and Pacos (Reservations needed). My wife and I eat there when we are in Galveston, try the pan seared plantain encrusted red snapper with raspberry chypotel sauce. We usually split a full order and its enoigh to fill you up. A good Pinot goes good with this dish.

Right On Danny! The snapper is fantastic and enough for two people.

 

Any thing there is good. (Reservations recommended especially when there are performances at the 1894 Grand Opera House next door) No Shorts except at bar.

 

KT's Dinner Large Tomatoes Steaks on Avocados with Shrimp & Crab Meat and Cevichi on side and the same chipolti red raspberry sauce..........

and order of calamari lightly fried with carmalized onions and peppers and sauce IS DINNER FOR TWO also.

Of course their Martinis are excellent.

 

Ski Bar and Saltwater Grill across street are excellent also.
