Hi David, Sometimes it can be quite warm in NYC in November, but I won't bore you with stories of meteorological oddities. Using the distance from port to port calculator and taking Miami as a good southern point latitude-wise to expect warm weather, it should be sometime around the middle of the second day at sea. Ta da! :)
Wadadli1 Posted September 17, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2007 It double posted and I didn't even ask for it to! I'd also like a gin and tonic, please.
patwell Posted September 17, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Yup...what Angela said only skip the G&T... We left from Lauderdale last Dec and it was in the 80's....in the morning everyone was in shorts on deck....lovely. I leave on the same trip Nov 10th and expect chilly weather at sea for about 36 hours til it starts to feel really warm, and then it's positively balmy, day and night :D Cheers, Penny Penny’s Affair to Remember QM2 Review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=471053 November 10,2007...the “Affair” continues.... In the check in line in Brooklyn. Seriously, by the afternoon of day 2 it will be warmer. NY can be warmer than you think that time of year, and the Caribbean can be cool that time of year. Ginger11 Posted September 19, 2007 #25 Share Posted September 19, 2007 Hi David, I am also on the November 20th cruise. It was surprisingly warm here in NYC last November. (Also, in December and January.) Usually though we have taken out the winter coats by then. I am figuring that it should be warming up by our second day sailing though. I am certainly planning on taking plenty of summer clothes. Ginger
