Antibiotics ??

Hi everyone,

We are going to Puerta Vallarta, Cabo and Mazatlan and need to know where we can buy antibiotics while in port. Any help you can give us is appreciated :)

I am not sure where you can buy them, but there are several pharmacies close to the dock in Cabo (well within walking distance)

Thank you I didnt know if it was the same as going to tijuana or ensenada :)

Unless a medication is on some sort of "scheduled" or restricted list, you can generally purchase it over the counter in Mexico - up to a 3-month supply (and for personal use). It'll be the rare pharmacy (farmacia, in Spanish) that'll ask you for a written prescription. If you're already taking this antibiotic, it's a good idea to bring the package with you when coming to Mexico, in case there's some confusion on the part of the pharmacist.
