Yay - just got the final details for my October 13th wedding!! :)

Yay, I just got my final confirmation call from Carnival for my wedding on the Glory in 11 days. I found out that my wedding is the first of 3 that day, and supposedly the largest of the 3 (I guess thats why we're first to get the big group over with). It's at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Room.

 

Right after that we have the piano player for our reception and will be in the Ebony Cabaret at 1:30 p.m. The cake will be cut around 2:30 and the photographer will take us around the ship afterwards to take pictures.

 

I'm sooooo excited, only 11 days to go!!!!! :)

My wedding is on Oct 16 in St Thomas. I am trying to get the recep changed to the piano bar, we have the disco. What kind of pianist do you have Jazz or Classical.

Hey Fordbrat! We have the piano player that is normally in the cinn-a-bar. The player is supposed to be able to do requests and even sing-along type of stuff. They did say if you have a larger group and the piano player it'll put you in the Ebony Cabaret. So where you've got a larger group that's probably where you'd be as well. :)

 

Are you working with Beth? She's been very nice so far with everything.

Cool Deal I have 50 sailing guests. Yes beth has been great. She makes it so easy to figure things out. Where did you find music for your husband wife dance and father daughter dance.

I still haven't decided yet on the father daughter dance. We picked a Renee Olstead song (amusingly enough from the Princess Diaries movies) called "A Love That Will Last" for our first dance.

 

For the ceremony we're going to do the traditional music for the start, and going out we are going to have the Harry Potter hedwig theme. :)
