Just got a room on priceline for pre-cruise stay. Liquor stores, convenience stores, restaurant or two within walking distance? I know it's on or across the street from the beach . . . Thanks in advance for any info . . .

Ideal location,shops & restraunts 300 yds ,the other way Galleria Mall ,1 mile, or the bus stops outside every 10 mins

Water taxi at the rear which takes you to this mall or shunters/greek bars at end of route.

Stayed there 3 days precruise in Feb 07 and it is very convenient to trolleys, water taxis, etc. Food at the hotel (convenience store in lobby and Shula's) is expensive but there are many options close by. My favorite "good food" great atmosphere casual place in FL is Coconuts Bahamas Bar on Intercoastal Waterway south of hotel. It is next door to the Swimming Hall of Fame
