Does anyone know if there is a Sushi Bar on Voyager?

If there is one it's a secret. Never mentioned on any compass dinning list. So, the short answer is No.

I'm with you Pete. On the Vy last Dec out of Miami, we "accidentaly" found it in the WJ--back in the Island Gril--after muster. we got to the ship really late & had not eaten since breakfast & went to WJ after muster to get a snack & lo & behod--sushi. we went back several times during that tie frame--5:30 ish & got some. That said, did we go back & see on the TA, NOPE, we were too busy in the CL.:D

So I guess the real answer is YES, it is hidden on the starboard side of the Island Grill - there is Sushi being served.

Thanks for bailing me out.

Just finished reading all the info. We booked Voyager while on the Rhapsody last April for this April. It just seems sooooooooo long away. I'd alway have to say next year, next year. Now, all of a sudden, it's just 3 months away!!!!!!! And I haven't even started packing yet...I better get busy.

This will just be our 5th cruise, 1 on X's Galaxy and 3 on Rhapsody. So the smaller ships are the only thing we know. We are VERY excited about a new ship but also a little anxious. So much larger and so many more people. We were afraid it was going to be like being a a large mob all the time, but everyone's posts have eased that some.

Our Favorite thing to do on sea days is to lounge around the Solarium (quieter than main pool) and read all day. Since there seems to be less loungers there are there lounge chairs on different decks (in the shade) available? Now just counting the days!!!!!

yep loungers in the shade, especially if you move them there

let me give you a head's up--wish I had known before we went on Voyager the first time. I just could not get my bearings about me on the ship until someone said--what is throwing you off is this:

ALL of the food--dining room AND windjammer--are aft AND aALL of the lounges are at the front. that cleared it right up. If your only experience is the Rhapsody--that will help you since on ROS WJ is in the front & Shall We Dance lounge is aft!!! Have fun--OH & you can not go from La Scala deck 3 straight to the Carmen Dining Room on Deck 3 because Studio B is in the way. you have to go UP to Deck 4 and then through the casino & then DOWN. We just got to where we sat on Deck 4 in La Scala and went through to the stairs in the centrum . Have a great time.

They've GOT to show the Dallas playoff game. I need a team to boo.:D

:p For every Boo you give There will be a Woo Hoo from Me! I love Da Boys:D I like the Texans Too!

I see they have scheduled the Cowboys game for a 3:30 kickoff. Hopefully muster will come at halftime! :)
They might have to come drag me out of my cabin for Muster! I gotta watch my BOYS! It might be the only playoff game their in!:( If they don't start playin' like the first of the season boys!

** I have another question for those that just got off the Voyager. What was/were the C & A gifts that were given out? I'm hoping for the blue tote bags.

Snoozeman,

What and where is Havana Blue in Cozumel? I may have discovered a reason to get off the ship when we're docked there.

It's now located upstairs in the Forum shops (next to Pancho's Backyard & Los Cinco Soles). They had a great little Latin club down the street before the last BIG Hurricane, but now they are in the Forum. Same bartender though. They also use Cuban rum. Best mojitos in the Caribbean.

Thanks, Snoozeman, for the info on Havana Blue. Your recommendation may just be enough to lure me off the ship (unless there is a REALLY good deal in the spa!)

Also thanks, brn2crz, for the local recommendation. We have been to South Shore Grill for their Cuban sandwiches but hadn't thought to try the mojiots there.

Hey did Pancho's backyard move also? I think it was our 04 cruise that we went in search of Pancho's and could never find him! And heaven forbid we ask someone;) .

Anyone reading from the Dec. 23 or Dec. 30 Voyager yet? I too want to go to Portofino on Caribbean menu night in the dining room and was hoping someone one would know. I'm dying that I can't plan this in advance!

Nine of us leave in 3 days and I'm too excited!

I knew I had seen it. So no sushi bar, but sushi served in WJ. Correct?

I never saw that Pete answered, but we had Erik as the CD on the July 15th Rhapsody cruise. He was fabulous. I'm really excited to get him back again.

Heck, I missed the question ........ thanks for filling in. I would have to look it up anyway.
