GAV BOY Posted October 26, 2007 #26 Share Posted October 26, 2007 We got our preliminary documents for our upcoming QM2 cruise today. Included was a booklet entitled “Your Cunard Voyage Guide”. Inside the smoking polices state the following, “For the comfort of all our guests, lifts and certain sections of public rooms have been designated as non-smoking areas. There is a non-smoking policy in all Queen Mary 2’s restaurants. Queen Elizabeth 2 has smoking sections in all restaurants (except Princess Grill) and public rooms. Queen Victoria guests must adhere to a non-smoking policy throughout. Guest who enjoy pipes or cigars are accommodated in the Churchill’s Cigar Lounge aboard Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria and the Chart Room, Golden Pub and designated areas in the Crystal Bar aboard Queen Elizabeth 2. We do ask you to refrain from smoking pipes and cigars in other public areas.” Does this mean Queen Victoria is essentially a non-smoking ship except for Churchill’s Cigar Lounge? steve Here it is !! highcbob Posted November 21, 2007 #27 Share Posted November 21, 2007 It has been awhile so I brought this thread back. Since QV is almost ready to board her first passengers, does anyone 'officially' know the final outcome of QV's smoking policy? ( cabins, balconies, public rooms etc. )
