Will Midwest move flight up?

From the Midwest website:

Confirmed Standby Option

Passengers may request a confirmed standby seat at any Midwest Airlines or Midwest Connect ticket counter or gate within three hours of the scheduled departure of the new flight. If seats are available, the passenger will receive a boarding pass and confirmed seat assignment on his or her desired flight upon payment of a $30 service fee (plus any difference in government-imposed fees).

This option applies to all refundable and most nonrefundable tickets, as well as award tickets. Travel must depart from and arrive in the same cities earlier or later the same day as the original ticket, though intermediate stops may vary. We will continue to offer our existing standby option at no charge. Under that option, passengers may stand by for a flight earlier or later the same day, but are not guaranteed a seat will be available.
