southerngoose Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I plan to get to the ship a bit early (12-1pm?). Is it possible to hop onto the treadmill at that time or is it only open for "touring"? I'd like to get the daily exercise "out of the way" after the requisite tour of the spa etc, then relax during sailaway. Also...are there elliptical machines on the Voyager? Do the machines on Voyager have TVs/DVD players so that I can watch my own dvd movies while exercising?
GMoney Posted October 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2007 There are ellipticals on Voyager. IME, using the gym on embarkation day is more hit than miss, but your mileage will vary.
Loucat Posted October 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I noticed all Shipe Shape Lounges open at that time. Yes, there are people touring, but it is easy to get a machine:)
masonpips Posted October 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Last week I was in the gym (after making a hair appt at the spa desk) by 11:50 a.m. and it was open and available for use (I took pics but worked out later that day after sailaway, but before late dinner and there were 5-6 of us in there then). This was on Liberty but I would guess many of the ships with gyms would have the same hours.
