 Has anyone booked a 7A obstructed view cabin on the Carnival Spirit class ships..ie: Spirit, Pride, Legend or Miracle?

Should I or shouldn't I for an Alaskan cruise in August 08?

Any photos of the 7A cabin windows?

I was asking about Balconies and someone posted a photo of the view from a 7A.

I didn't actually see a 7A view or cabin that I could tell.

Anyone else have some photos or help so I can see if I want to book a 7A to Alaska on a Spirit class ship?

Thanks

It's in that thread. Just scroll down a bit to post #8 and click on the photo. You can't see directly down to the water, but you can see out just fine. Personally, I wouldn't book one, but I am PICKY when it comes to my balcony view. :p Lots of other people have said they are fine.

My BF and I stayed in a 7A cabin on the Legend. We had originally booked an ocean view guarantee, we were upgraded to the 7A and we were very happy.

A 7A is a PARTIALLY OBSTRUCTED BALCONY cabin. You will have a balcony with a view out to sea but the view directly below your balcony will be blocked by a lifeboat.

It's a tough call for an Alaskan cruise, if the price difference is considerable, it may be the best way to go to save $$. However, if the difference is $50 or less to go up to an 8A, I would do that. If it's a 7A or no balcony, get the 7A! ;)

Here is a pic I took off of our 7A balcony. You can see the lifeboat right about at foot level.

Also, (check this thread) to see a couple of other pics.
