Hi We will be in Villefranche in May of next year. I use a wheelchair full time. We are looking for a private tour guide who uses a sedan (car) and not a van. Does anyone know of a guide we can contact about this?

Thank you

Although we were in a van for our tour, since Alain of Dream Tours gets most of his business from Cruise Critic recommendations, I would suggest that he would either be willing to try to help you out himself or direct you to someone that can help you.

Here is his website; http://www.dream-tours.com/

Steve,

I have contacted dream tours about a tour and they were booked with post Grand Prix clients. I just emailed Alain again to ask about a guide with a sedan. Thank you for the suggestion.

Larry- Thank you. I will contact her. Where did you go on your tour with her?

Hi Jean,

We did alot..probably a little too much..but here is the list.

Walked around Nice and the Flower Market (which was an antique market the day we were there).

Musee Matisse

Musee Chagall

St. Paul-de-Vence

La Colombe d’Or (lunch)

Monaco (by the time we got to Monaco..we only had 15 mins left)

hope this helps!

Thanks for the itin. We may do a little less. We are in Villefranche and then the following week we are in Cannes/MonteCarlo so we have a chance to split things up. Though I think the Cannes/MonteCarlo is going to be a beach day weather permitting.

JSR,

I was in Villefranche on a land trip a couple of weeks ago.

Don't know if this will have a bearing on your itinery with your guide, but you say that the following week you will be in Cannes/Monte Carlo. Villefranche is more or less midway between Cannes and Monte Carlo!

Paul.

We are doing a b2b so on one leg we tender to Villefranche and the other the itin says "Cannes/Monte Carlo" which I believe means we will tender in Cannes.

I info on thier relative locations helps.

Thanks,

Jean

Jean,

To minimise travelling time and maximise your sight-seeing, my suggestion would be that whilst at Villefranche you consider visiting some or all of the following:

Nice, Monaco, Eze, La Turbie, Cap Ferrat and Villefranche.

When at Cannes you would be better placed to visit some or all of the following:

Cannes, Antibes, St. Tropez, Port Grimaud, Vence, St. Paul de Vence and Grasse.

FYI Monaco is the name of the entire principality. Monte Carlo is one part only, which includes the Casino, but does not include the old town, palace and cathedral.

Hope that helps.
