pll Posted September 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2004 We will be on the Grandeur later this month (it will be our first sailing with RC). I know that there is a "dress code" for dinner in the dining room but are shorts allowed in the dining room for breakfast & lunch or would this not be proper? MiniMom57 Posted September 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2004 Shorts are totally acceptable for breakfast and lunch in the dining room.....swim suits are not. The "dress code" is much more relaxed than at dinner.
AuntieBon Posted September 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2004 This was one of the questions that popped into my mind & never made from there to the boards. Nice to know I don't have to "dress" for breakfast before heading into port or doing a change when I return for lunch.
MA cruisers Posted September 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2004 No tank tops for MEN were allowed in the dining room for breakfast or lunch om Explorer of the Seas when we sailed in July.
Sea Island Lady Posted September 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2004 No tank tops for MEN were allowed in the dining room for breakfast or lunch om Explorer of the Seas when we sailed in July. Yet I have seen many on the AOS and Mariner recently. Shorts are totally acceptable for breakfast and lunch in the dining room.....swim suits are not. The "dress code" is much more relaxed than at dinner. You can however, wear a bathing suit and cover-up to the Windjammer fro breakfast.:)
