Hello all....I do not normally visit here since I am a former resident of Boston and dont need the travel advise ;) , but I saw this on USA today's web page and thought I would share...I dont know how long it will remain out there though:

The September 2004 issue of National Geographic Travelar has an article called:

Insider's Boston - Beantown locals share 34 favorite things to do, from slurping oysters to cruising the Charles River by duck. By George W. Stone. Photographs by John Kernick.

Its a regular feature. This past Spring they had an article on New Orleans. We traveled to New Orleans in May and referred to many of the "favorite things to do". It was like having a local friend.

On our cruise to New England in October we have booked a Culinary tour of the North End after hearing their recommendation.
