Tortola Excursions

Since we are not swimmers we have decided not to go to the Baths. However, we would like a brief tour of the island and them spend some time at a beach. Should we take a ship tour or can this be done on our own? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

You can arrange to do this on your own very easily with one of the many taxi drivers in Road Town. Negotiate your fee and make arrangements for your return pick up from the beach with your driver in advance. Many of the drivers will not ask you to pay until the return pick up so if the first one balks at this move on to another driver.
