Voyager vs. carnival miracle

well i just returned from carnival miracle - as this was my first cruise, had nothing to compare too - but i had a ball and want to go on another cruise - heard the voyager leaves from n.j. (which is good for me, no plane) and they are going to berumda next year - i have seen voyager on travel channel and think it is just awesome ship - there looks to be much more on voyager than miracle.

now -- any advice about voyager (type of room, deck) - like balcony - and any advice about berumda -

also...as this is mega ship going into berumda - does anyone know if it docks, or is it tendered in?

thank u.

Greetings Lefty from another Southpaw. We are going on the Voyager next Friday out of Cape Liberty. Fancy name for Bayonne. We have been on the Navigator, sister ship, and our daughter was on the Voyager last year for her honeymoon. We all loved the ship, that's why we are all going, us and our other two grown children with their others. Even though the ship is huge we didn't feel lost in the crowd. There are plenty of things to do when you are at sea. The promenade is unbelievable. Johnny Rocket thick shakes are fantastic. Chops and Portifino are worth the 20 bucks. As for a room that's up to you. We always go for the inside because it's inexpensive, allright cheap, and we don't spent much time there. We haven't been to Bermuda in quite a few years but I heard from people that have that it is still very friendly and a rrelaxing place to go. We've been there 3 times and were not disappointed.

yes i am a southpaw and appreciate the info - like i said watching the voyager on TV it is something i want to do - although, we went on carnival on 8/21 - left week after charlie and week before francis and boy were we lucky - august is the only time i can go as my daugther works for a camp and that is when she can go - next year, we are again looking into august, voyager also goes to carribean but i don't know if i want to chance going to carribean in middle of august, although berumda can still get hurricanes.

oh boy don't know what to do -- first we thought about voyager memorial weekend to berumda - but that would mean taking my daugther out of school which i don't want to do - so we are back to august again.

let us know you input when u return - i hear casino, shops on ship close when docked but hopefully there will still be enough to do without them

i know i thought about it only being 5 days too, the other trip to carribean i believe leaves friday and returns following sunday - i would love that but no too sure if my husband wants longer cruise - i would definitely pick the voyager to the carribean BUT then picking august is a chance i have to take - i was very very lucky this year going 8/21 but not sure if i want to go thru it next year (the way hurricanes are running now).

oh well really have to think about this one.
