Fort Lauderdale Hotels

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites Cruiseport at least 3 times. Our rooms have been clean, ready when we arrived, non-smoking as requested and very adequate for the $$. We always arrive fairly late and leave for the port asap the next morning. Call when you get to the airport and they will send a shuttle to pick you up. You sign up for the shuttle to the port when you arrive. There is a free breakfast buffet each morning which is just perfect before heading to the ship. Poolside there is a made-to-order omelet station. Inside there are both hot and cold breakfast items. Not gourmet, but good and really, who wants to each a huge breakfast when you have cruise food available in a couple of hours. I think you will be quite pleased with this hotel as long as you are not expecting luxury.

Lentronic, when you asked about how you get a specfic hotel on Priceline....you don't.....that is partially why you get such a good price...you bid by zone and ratings......for example the 2 hotels in the 3STAR range in Downtown FLL are Embassy Suites and Marriott Marina.

You bid on the zone and the stars.......usually if your bid is accepted it is 1 of those 2 hotels.

They are both very near the port and have lots of restaurants and shops near them as well...along with the Water Taxi..which is really nice too.

Right now, I think if you put in 4 stars and downtown only this is the hotel you get. That's the closest you come to picking a hotel on priceline - when there's only one possible in the catagory!
