Peace2U Posted February 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2008 We are going to the southern Caribbean on Crown Princess and I wondered which dining room is for anytime dining. Also which restaurants are considered specialty, ie extra charge? I want to avoid them.
willysgrandma Posted February 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2008 The Davinci and Michaelangelo are the Anytime Dining restaurants. We found no waits at the dining room on deck 5. Sabatini's and the Crown Grill are the alternate restaurants that charge for food. They are well worth the price, too. Also, be aware that most of the food in the International Cafe is free. Many people avoid the place because they think there is a charge for everything, but most of the food there is free.
Peace2U Posted February 6, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I would've thought that the Int'l Cafe was a charge also. Thanks for the great info!

j4047 Posted February 6, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Cafe Caribe is the buffet area. expect to wait several minutes for a table. We ate at the boticelli dining room most nights, be aware that it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to eat. they are slow. it is good food. we ate at first sitting and had a hard time making the early shows. the showa are another thing to be warned about. you have to get their early to get a seat. 3200 on board (700 seating in princess theater, two shows a night) we watched sevearl very good acts in th explorers lounge on deck 7. enjoy your cruise. try the dolphin swim if possible on tortola. it is awesome
willysgrandma Posted February 6, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2008 We thought everything in the International Cafe had a charge too - thank God for CC, because that was how we learned, too!
