Diamond C&A - Any benefits on Celebrity?

Don't be expecting the great things you get on RCCL as a diamond member; sadly X's Captain's Club isn't as good. You will be an elite member on Celebrity but that still doesn't entitle you to much. You'll get some flowers in your room, an invite to things like elegant tea, a bridge tour, behind the scenes of the theater, etc. You will also get a coupon book but it's nothing like RCCL's - for this one you need to buy something to use any of them.

You can use a separate check-in line and you'll get a private disembarkation lounge which is nice but that's about all. No discounts like Royal Caribbean offers.

The reciprocal membership is not automatic. In order to get the elite benefits, you will need to join Celebrity's captain's club. Just call the Captains club number from Celebrity's website and tell them you are a diamond member of crown and anchor and give them your crown and anchor number. They will enroll you and give you a captain's club number.

You can do this even if you aren't planning on cruising Celebrity. We are elite with Celebrity and called and got our diamond membership in crown and anchor as soon as reciprocal benefits were announced - even though we have never cruised Royal Caribbean or had no intention to book one at that time.

Your count for each line will be separate - you cannot combine the number of sailings.

I agree with barbarah33. The only perks we found useful were priority tendering and debarkation. While we actually use the coupons RCI provides, the ones with X all have strings attached and we did not use any of them. And the balcony discount is nonexistent.

You can however, confirm for the specialty restaurant prior to sailing. This was a nice evening and I would highly recommend it.
