Rate these excursions w/RCCL

We are traveling on Rapsody of the Seas with friends at the end of May. I would like to know if anyone has been on the following excursions w/Royal Caribbean.

 

In Juneau:

Alaska Canopy Expedition...zip lines, boarding and expedition craft, 4x4 off-road vehicle and more!

 

In Skagway:

Dog Sledding & Glacier Flightseeing...combining helicopter flightseeing with dog sledding.

 

I would like any insight before I book these...they ain't cheap! Thanks.;)

The glacier dog sledding is a consistantly raved about tour. In Skagway also see if you can book direct for savings, only one vendor, TEMSCO

 

This is mostly on snow, so you don't have the ice of the regular glacier landings. You also do NOT drive sleds. Two sleds are hooked together, you either ride in the basket or on the break. You switch off posistions.

 

Have back up plans. Glacier dog sledding is the most canceled Alaska tour.
