Ma Bell Posted September 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2004 They are able to use either as I recall. I always use the numerical keyboard.

flagger Posted September 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2004 On Infinity, there was a sticker on the safe that said NOT to slide a card. We just used the keypad.

wv4891 Posted September 21, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 21, 2004 I seem to remember you could use your shipboard account card or use the keypad. But that could have been at some hotel also. Getting old is hell...:p

Andy Posted September 22, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 22, 2004 On the Millennium do the cabin safes use a credit card to open or do they use a number, key board system? Hello ! At one time, the safes did allow you to use a Credit Card and I think the room key as well. On my most recent Cruises, on Summit and on Millennium, the Key Card area was taped up, so that it could not be used. The only option was to use the keypad. You set it to your own personal pincode the first time you use the safe. I hope this information helps ! Regards, Andy
