We are first time cruisers going on the Glory May 3.What time are we allowed to start boarding the ship?:o ;) :)

a lot of people say they get on around 11:30??? But it all comes down to, is when the ship gets cleared by customs and all other guests are off the ship.

You picked a DYNAMITE ship for a "first cruise". Your itinerary is different from when we did the western route. I'd suggest planning an excursion in Belize. Cave tubing or snorkling at Goff's Caye are the most popular. Also, in Freeport there's nothing by the pier, so take a taxi to Port Lucaya. There's beach, casino, and a marketplace. I'd get there around 11AM and you should be aboard by noon. If you're driving, they won't let you into the parking garage before 11AM.

We usually board by 11:30-Noon....drop the carry-ons off at the cabin and go to the pool bar. Grab a bite to eat and then check on our luggage about 2:30-3 and get unpacked and settled and ready for the sail-away.

clevelandrocks- Thanks for the info. I am going to check into Goff's Caye today. We were thinking about using Coral Breeze tours and snorkling at the barrier reef and then going to Bannister Island in Belize.

 

I know we are ziplining in Roatan. I can't wait.

 

Are there cabs waiting at the port that will take us directly to Port Lucaya?

 

Did you visit Cozumel? Do you have any info on Paradise Beach?

We are think about doing a little shopping, going to Paradise Beach for a bit and then on our way to Carlo's and Charlies.:D
