hunnypot1 Posted February 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Sorry, but the search function is not working.... Are there coin operated washers and dryers on board for guest use? Are laundry detergent and fabric softener sold? If not, what are the fees for their laundry service? We are not in a suite, if that matters. We prefer to pack light and do a load of laundry midcruise. :)
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Sorry - no self laundries on the Oosterdam. Laundry by the bag runs around $12 - $15 depending on itinerary. All you want washed -- $45 for the week includes pressing.

They do provide a laundry/dry cleaning service, but I do not know how much it costs. When we were on the Noordam, we were able to put as much laundry as we could fit into a laundry bag and have it done for $12.00. However, that does not include dry cleaning. BaumD Posted February 28, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2008 For $12 they did 1 pants, 1 dress shirt, 3 polo shirts, 3 t shirts, assorted socks and underwear. Shirts were all ironed and on hangers. It's all you can cram in their laundry bag.

hockeymom21 Posted February 28, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 28, 2008 We used the "all you can stuff" laundry bag on our trip... had I known:) how wonderful it would be I would have "stuffed" more in the bag! It all came back pressed, with some hung! It was almost a treat!
Rare Copper10-8 Posted February 28, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 28, 2008 No laundry machines on any of the Vista's and/or the new Eurodam and her unnamed sister. Consider bringing some fishing line and a good left hook. Sea water does wonders on a pair of faded jeans
