Golden Princess Caribe 719

Hi all, My fiance' and I are sailing on the Golden on March 22nd. This is my 2nd Princess Cruise and her 3rd. Any feedback on the above cabin? This is a Balcony Cabin near the aft end of the ship and is a little further back than we have been in the past and on the Port Side.

We just got off the Golden last Saturday and had cabin C718 which is the same cabin on the other side of the ship.

 

We LOVED that room! We tend to hang out at the aft pool all day so it was right there just 3 flights up. We would go up to deck 12, walk down the hall to the back door and be right at the terrace pool. Perfect!

 

We also tend to hang out at the Wheelhouse bar and the Explorers bar so, again, it was just a couple flights down the stairs, and voila, we were there!

 

And that aft staircase also brings you right to the buffet. :D

 

It would be farther away to, say, the casino or theater but we didn't go to either of those very often.

 

And it's far enough away from the elevator banks that you don't hear that traffic. We would request this room again, in a heartbeat.

Sounds great! Can you give me any more info about your cruise since you just got off the ship. ie; entertainment on ship, what you did in the ports, meals, etc... I've been looking at Member Reviews but have not seen many recent ones while the Golden has been doing the Mexican Riviera in February.

Do you remember if the Terrace pool had stairs to walk down into the pool or do you have to go down a ladder.I know on the Sea and Dawn the back pool had stairs which made it much easier to get in and out of pool.

I think the Terrace pool is the exact same on all ships. At least the grand class ones. There are steps that you can easily walk down. No ladder.
