Atlantis submarine what next?

We have an 11.00am dive on the Atlantis Submarine, which I believe only last around 45 mins. Don't know what to do once this is over. Don't want to go to the mainland as we were in Playa del Carmen last summer.

Are there good local beaches and shopping?

You're underwater for 40 minutes. total time is about 2 hours getting to the sub then off.

Afterwards, we walked outside the Atlantis office, caught a taxi, took the scenic ocean drive to Paradise Beach. Even though PB was busy, and we were "late arrivals", we still found 3 loungers and an umbrella. Food and drink were great. It was a good day.
