Transport:Miami airport - Fort Lauderdale

What can we (2 adults, 1 child) expect to pay in transport costs from Miami Airport to Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal. It's cheaper for us to fly to Miami than to Fort lauderdale. Can you recomend any transport companies.

It will cost you about $70. You can take a taxi or you can pay a little more and hire a Car Service. The Car Service will be about $100.

You should check out the north american homeports, east coast. I'm sure there are lots of posts of companies and costs there. I used that site for my LA departure port and found it VERY helpful.

I think it was something like 18 per person? Pretty reasonable. I think it was 30 per person for the cruise line's (Carnival) shuttle. If we had wanted to shuttle to ourselves it would have been around 70, we were told we could do that or just wait for other people to arrive. We only waited about 10 minutes and then it was full and we were off!

We fly into Fort Lauderdale for cruises out of the Port of Miami for the same reason, it is cheaper to fly to Fort Lauderdale than to Miami. We use Fort Lauderdale Airport Shuttle and it is $27.00 per person one way. I believe they also do Miami International to Fort Lauderdale. Their phone # is 954-722-9902. You can call to ask if they do Miami to Fort Lauderdale.
