DaisyGirl55 Posted March 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2008 I am not sure what a "jitney" is, but I am sure someone will explain it to me! Anyway, I would like to go to the Wyndham/Sheraton beach when we cruise to Nassau next month, and pay the $15 day pass to enjoy the beach, the facilities, and then the casino. :D My question is this: I know that when you get off of a ship, you are inundated with taxi drivers and people selling tours that they will take you to the beach, to Atlantic, to Paradise beach, and so on. The jitney sounds more like "public" transportaion, and is so many people use it, I am assuming somewhat reliable. Even so, is it the best way to get to the Wyndham/Sheraton hotel? Or would a taxi be better?

pmfan Posted March 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2008 The jitney is the public bus. I used it to get to the beach and found it lots of fun.
