scunny bunny Posted March 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Can anyone help with this one. We have just returned to UK from Connie. We purchased a special malt whisky in St Maarten and this was taken off us on return to ship and we got our receipt. On last night this was not returned and we spent over 1 hour chasing this and over another hour on the last morning but nothing has been resolved. Think they delivered it to wrong state room - where do we stand regarding compensation as we have no whisky but have spent the dollars! Any help appreciated. Rare uktog Posted March 11, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Call Celebrity at Weybridge - I assume you still have the receipt? and the names of those you spoke with on board? That should help. I would assume that they had an obligation of care and that has been broken. Unfortunately others are not always honest so have "snaffled" the whisky I presume you had travel insurance - wonder if you can put in a claim there? Canuker Posted March 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Forget the whisky - it's history. They screwed up so demand a refund plus costs. Whatever you do, do not part with the original copy of your receipt. If they get that, it's history too. Don't be afraid to badger them.
