Luv06012012 Posted May 9, 2013 #2401 Share Posted May 9, 2013 You can request the same server for MTD, and they will do their best to make it work, but it's not guaranteed. It's easier to get the same server in MTD if you book a standing reservation. I agree....you can request the same server, but if their section is already filled up you would have to either agree to wait or sit in someone else's section. tneah Posted May 9, 2013 #2402 Share Posted May 9, 2013 While talking to some of the crew on Oasis last week. Most of the crew said Freedom was their favorite ship. They love the size and that they actually have time to get to know some of the cruisers. They are way too busy and over worked to get to do this on the Oasis. On my way back to the Freedom in 38 days, I think?
Annefran Posted May 9, 2013 #2403 Share Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) Hi All, We are very excited for our Freedom of the Seas cruise May 26th. We sailed on it's sister ship, Liberty several years ago. I am a fan of the Voyager class but I think Freedom class is going to take that over after we sail. This is our first time doing MTD. I did make our reservations online for 7:30pm every night. I'm hoping to change that to an early seating either 6:45 or 7:00pm once we board. Do I go to the Main Dinning room to try to change that on boarding day? Or would the Concierge be able to do that for us? 7:30pm was the earliest time when I booked online. That is a little late for us but still didn't want to do the early seating (as we always have in the past) because it was way too early, 5:30pm. I have read we can request the same waitstaff, which is great. There will be four of us sailing. Anything else I should know about the ship, any great secrets you can share? Happy Sailing! Yes, you could do it both ways. However, since you have a concierge, he can get this done for you. You should not have any problems getting what you need. Even so, you can show up at 6:45 or 7:00 to be seated. We don't pick at set time as they suggest.

Italy52 Posted May 16, 2013 #2407 Share Posted May 16, 2013 We will be on the FOS in a few weeks. My daughter and her family want to do a ship excursion to the Sting Rays. Her question is, what mode of transportation does the ship-sponsored excursion use??? She is wondering if she needs to take her child's booster seat. Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated. bobinfl Posted June 9, 2013 #2410 Share Posted June 9, 2013 If you are a serious player you may be invited to join Club Royale. Similar to land based casinos, they will give perks to the better customers. Club Royale benefits include free drinks in the casino, no surcharge on cash advances on your Seapass card, and discounts or rebates on future cruises, among other things. If you are in doubt as to whether your play will qualify, ask the casino host.
Daghis Posted June 9, 2013 #2411 Share Posted June 9, 2013 In case you're curious about what it takes to qualify for Club Royale, a couple years ago the magic number was 2,000 points earned on slot machines. You get 1 point for every $5 wagered. I don't know what kind of action is required for table games.

Karalovespink Posted June 10, 2013 #2421 Share Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) I've never cruised with RCI, so I am pretty excited for the one I just booked! Five night Western Caribbean, leaving Feb 1st 2014, on Liberty of the Seas. I have cruised with Disney once before, when I was in High School, so this is huge!! I booked JS 1706. My partner and I will be celebrating 3 years on Feb 2cd..and what better way to spend it than a day at sea?? :) She doesn't know we are going yet, I feel like I'm going to burst I'm so excited lol. Anyways enough about all of that, my question is actually about this site. What does DW, DD, etc mean? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question... I searched before asking :(.
