Konger3 Posted March 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2008 On my upcoming cruise we have adjoining rooms with some friends of ours. My question is can the doors be opened or locked on your choice throughout the cruise by a deadbolt on each door or is it something the crew has to unlock so you have to choose always open or always closed? While the idea of adjoined rooms is nice, i like some peace, quiet and privacy ocasionally so don't think i could stand having the rooms permanently unlocked. Either the cabin attendant unlocks them, or s/he doesn't unlock them.
beachchick Posted March 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2008 If you have the door unlocked by the attendent, you can't lock it, but you can close it. I assume that you are close enough friends that a closed door would be as good as a locked one as far as respecting privacy. beachchick
