We now have 6 Celebrity cruises under our belt. I believe that we are now classified as Elite instead of Classic. Does the cruiseline keep track of such things? Or is it up to the individual to prompt them?

6 would make you a Select member, you need 10 I believe to be Elite. Yes, they keep track and the perks onboard are given out accordingly.

We completed our 10th cruise in February. About 3 weeks later, we received our new elite cards without any prompting. Talk about service!

Seagulls, your sixth cruise actually was as a Select Captain's Club member. Call the Captain's Club toll free number to make sure that they have all of your past cruise experience listed. You should have received a new Green Card after your 5th cruise, but it doesn't seem like that was done. I had responded to a survey about our cruises and they still got it wrong, not including our very first cruise when we paid the fee. Extra perks for the club memberships are nice.
