lovedeals Posted March 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2008 Has anyone ever had an obstructed balcony on either the coral princess or the island princess. I had one on the carnival spirit and didnt mind it at all. The only thing I couldnt see was the deck below and I didnt go to Alaska to look at the deck so it didnt matter.:p
MichCook Posted March 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2008 Yes, we had cabin D206 (forward, port side) on the Coral - partial Panama Canal transit. The balcony was considered partially obstructed because part of the structure of the ship covered a bit of the viewing area from the balcony. But, we had no problem viewing the transit through the canal from our balcony - no obstruction looking down - but a bit of obstruction from a light that stuck out from the side of the ship. Also, the obstruction actually gave me some relief from the sun when I wanted to read, but not roast. :)
