Dinner around Hilton @ YVR?

We won't have our own transportation and will have been traveling all day. Any suggestion on a place to get a sandwich or a salad near the Hilton @ YVR? We won't mind walking, in fact we would enjoy that. Thanks.

I am assuming you are staying at the Hilton on Minoru in Richmond.

 

The only place I am aware of around the area that serves decent salads and sandwiches is Foggy Dew, which is an "Irish" Pub. It's pub grub, but it's good. It's probably a 10-15 minute walk from your hotel. The address is 7331 Westminster Hwy.

Minoru and Westminster Hwy are perpendicular to each other.

There are many other restaurants in the area but that's the only one I know of that serves decent sandwiches and salads.

There is a White Spot, kind of an upscale Applebies at #3 Rd and Ackroyd just a block or 2 away. Then there is an Earls's in the Landsdown Mall a few blocks away. Plus a Milestones at #3 and Westminster which is adjacent the Hilton.

Not to be overlooked is the Cactus Club at 5500 No 3 Rd. About one third of a mile from your hotel. IMHO the best of the bunch. :)
