does carnival triumph have a lobsters night?

are is it just certain carnival ships?:confused:

going on the triumph 6-1-8 to 6-8-8.

Yes - the first formal night (night of the captains cocktail party) they serve lobster in the dining room.

In Sept, we were on the Triumph. We did have lobster, but it was an entree with a small lobster tail and a couple giant prawns. On our previous cruises (Sensation and Fantasy) we had large lobster tails, no shrimp. I don't know who decides which type of lobster, but there was a definite difference.

As a matter of policy, lobster is served at least one evening in the main dining room, on every Carnival sailing.

We had the same thing (SMALL lobster tail and 2 large prawns) on the Legend last November. I wonder if Carnival is introducing something new. NEXT time I will know to order 2 lobster tails if the dinner includes prawns.

They are small but you can order as many as you want

two weeks ago, on the triump main lobster tails were served (not the smaller caribeann lobster), howeverm my dw sent hers back because it was too salty, something i have never seen her do.

We were on the Triumph in March and we did get the lobster with shrimp BUT they brought us two servings of each without asking and it was delicious!

I like the lobster/shrimp combo better and you can order more than one. With all the other courses, I found one to be sufficient.
