bleekercity Posted April 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Is Baked Alaska served? And if so, is it always offered on the ninth day of the cruise?
Sox Fan Cruiser Posted April 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Yes, the baked Alaska is served on the TP. It's the second formal night. I was on the Tahiti/Hawaii trip so I don't know which night that is on her "normal" FP cruises.

I do not know what nights the fomals are for her 14 day Alaska cruises this summer.
dennbr9 Posted April 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Second Formal night on our 4/8 to 4/18 Cruise was the evening we sailed out of Bora Bora. This was the night of the Captain's Circle get together also.

Grego Posted April 21, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2008 would assume so, but the timing might depend on the itinerary. I do not know what nights the fomals are for her 14 day Alaska cruises this summer. We are starting a pool to guess which are the formal nights on this new itinerary. The word is that there are 3 nights, so my guess is the first and last "sea" days which are those where we are cruising the Inside Passage and the middle one could be either of the Gulf of Alaska days. My money is on the first one being Ketchican day...since it is a 2pm departure....agree with your thoughts on the others....with baked Alaska on the last one. whale-watcher Posted April 21, 2008 #8 Share Posted April 21, 2008 could make for an interesting formal night as we cross the Gulf of Alaska on the sea day in between Kodiak and Juneau!
