Hi Folks,

I need to place a deposit on a Mex. Riviera November '08 by tomorrow and have to decide on a cabin by COB tomorrow.

I was going to go for GTY VD Upper Promenade hoping for an upgrade but my TA (who has been on the ship several times) is encouraging me to secure a definite cabin # so that I'm not disappointed with the assigned location if I don't get a visit from the "Upgrade Fairy".:D We've only done one prior HAL (Masdamn) cruise- AND loved loved loved it!

Is there some ulterior motive why the TA is disuading me form a GTY?

Are all cabins oin this part /deck of the ship (just above the DR) created equal in terms of size & configuration, balcony size etc.? I know the handicapped cabins tend to be larger but NO tub - must have my tub.:o

Last - port or starboard side for Mex. Rivieria views?

BTW-off topic but yesterday I was researching my May 21 Denali/ -tour Cruise West Alaska cruise on Youtube and I stumbled upon multiple youtube videos-many of which were HAL, the Osterdamn in particular.:)

Thanks all.:)
