The best thing we had all week was the cream of asparagus soup. It was very light but so tasty. Wish I had the recipe.

I am a big fan of the scallop and risotto appetizer. I usually order it as an entree.

Loved the lobster bisque as an appetizer. mmm soo good. The tomato soup is very good as well. Also i had a breaded chicken stuffed with cheeses and broccoli that was excellent as well.

The onion tart and scallop/risotto appetizers were my favorite. My favorite desert was the Grand Marnier Souffle. Could eat that for every course! :D

yup......exactly what Cruiznthefastlane said. I would like to add the special salad (captain's choice or chef's choice?) that was served with a vinaigrette dressing the last night - would love to have the recipes for all of these!!!

I am not a fan of soup - that being said I always try at least one new thing per meal if possible. And I'm so glad I do - because I LOVE all of hte cold fruit soups RC offers - my very favorite was the strawberry.

There was also a warm butternut squash soup I tried a few cruises ago that was out of this world.

 

I also can't get enough of the Caesar Salad. I order it with every dinner.

Although I found RCCL's food average, I particularly loved the Chilled Strawberry Bisque with fresh mint garnish. We also found that the Nachos Supreme (Room Service menu) were the best we'd ever had. I think we ordered the Nachos every day.

I am not a big dessert eater, except on cruises. But I order TWO Ivory Chocolate Fondues when it is on the menu.

Another vote for the ceasar salad. RCCL beats everybody out on this one. There's is pretty near perfect. The regular ceasar is terrific, and the one served at lunch with the shrimp and bacon sends me into ceasar-lover heaven!!! :D

appetizer: nothing stands out (cruised over a year ago) but I loved the fruit soups.

salad: caesar, of course!

dinner: garlic tiger shrimp

dessert: tiramisu from Portofino's

drink: BBC........mmmmmmm

I LOVE the Fettucine Alfredo ! Its the best! And the Love Boat. My favorite foo foo is the Miami Vice.

Miami Vice is certainly my favorite drink. Loved the Mango Cheesecake served one day at lunch. It's been a while since I cruised, but I cruise again in 2 weeks and am dreaming about the great food!

Well I'm just back from the Soveriegn of the Seas and I definitely had some tasty meals. My favorites were the vidalia onion tart, scallop risotto, cesear salad, seared sea bass, and sugar-free mint chocolate cake.

The cold fruit soups were delicious, especially the strawberry bisque. I also loved the tiger shrimp and the lobster tail.

The watermelon gazpacho is amazing. The scallop and risotto also gets my vote as well as the escargot!
