Would like any information that could tell me about Rooms 1207 and 1208. Pros and Cons. I know that the room has a porthole and I'm traveling solo on the Glory in May 09. Just looking for peoples thoughts/opinions.

1211 is next to 1207 as I remember it. We have 1216 on the other side. Cant wait. My friend doesnt care if she does hear the anchor on port side.

We had #1225 on the Conquest on our first cruise. We never noticed any sounds from the anchor, but really enjoyed hearing the water break against the ship as we zipped through the ocean. :)

We had water smashing against our port holes on Ecstasy (5A on Riveria deck) for more than 24 hours. I took a lot of pictures of the waves. Some hear the water breaking against the ship, some think its smashing against the ship lol.

Most of the pics you cant tell what it is, just droplets on glass, just the ones with the waves receeding can you see what the pics are of. But it was fun, whatever happens we enjoy the cruise.
