VCR's in Cabins? and/or Video Rentals?

This is my first Royal Caribbean Cruise and I am traveling on the Radiance with my daughter and 3 year old grandson through the Panama Canal this October. I was thinking of taking cartoon videos if VCRs are available to rent or if they're in the Staterooms.

If you are in a suite, you may have a VCR. Regular cabins do not. There is a channel on the TV with kids programming (cartoons)

Does that include Junior Suites? You wouldn't happen to know if the TVs have an S Video port would you? Was thinking I could play DVDs off our Laptop if we wanted to watch a movie.
