Oosterdam 4/09 refurbishing

The same things that were done to the Westerdam and Zuiderdam. The primary changes are an aft-lift which adds about 30 cabins by extending decks 6, 7, and 8, and the moving of the Internet Center (Oosterdam never got an Explorations Cafe) up to the starboard side of the Crow's Nest, eliminating the Oak Room. In addition, they will be doing all of the other lesser upgrades and repairs that normally are done in dry docks.

 

The new deck plans are available on HAL's site, or in any 2009 catalog, or you can look at the current Westerdam and Zuiderdam plans.

Generally only things that are worn to the point of needing replacement are replaced. :)
