Mark Posted June 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I heard that Carnival will have a bottle of champagne waiting for you when you arrive and booked in a category 11 or 12 suite? Assuming this is true, does anyone know how I could arrange to have the bottle of champagne become a cold six-pack of beer??? I am not a champagne drinker and figure that one bottle of champagne would equal about six cold beers? Any veteran Carnival cruisers have any info or thoughts on this? If so, please advise Thanks:cool:
thepeach Posted June 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2008 It's not true-no champagne will be awaiting your arrival.
firefly333 Posted June 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2008 It's not true-no champagne will be awaiting your arrival. Not unless you pay for it, or you TA sends it. My TA sends my choice of cheap champagne, white or red wine.
Sirwinston Posted June 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2008 The Peach and firefly are correct. But some lines give you sparkling wine ( of doubtful origins). I would rather have Carnival's prices and buy my own choice. But I buy champagne or sparkling wine ahead of time for sail away online. I have to call to get icet to get it chilled. I am sure you could do the same for beer. But cold beer is onsale in the lido as soon as you board the ship... Tom in Long Beach
