It's June in Alaska, the sun is shining for 18 to 20 hours each day. Haven't you ever heard the old slogan, "The land of the midnight sun"?

 

It's Monday, the Sun should port in Ketchikan in the morning. Here's tommorrow's Sunrise and Sunset in Ketchikan. Sunrise at 04:06 am. Sunset at 21:27 pm. And the times for Dawn and Dusk. Dawn at 03:08. Dusk at 22:26. So it's only pitch dark for 5 hours tommorrow, with 19 hours of sun.

Ketchikan still has hours of sunlight left today.

When I posted, the webcam picture was upside down. I thought it looked funny with ship on top and the water on the bottom. Not sure why the picture is different now than when originally posted, but I checked the website and the picture has updated since my original post. I guess it updates on the thread as well.

If the photo was upside down, I could see the humor.

But when I looked at it earlier, it was upside up, like it is now.

 

Funny, in just a few minutes, it's upside down again?
