Are most things closed on Sunday??

We will be in San Juan on a Sunday and wondered if most stores and restaurants are closed. Does the Trolley system run on Sundays and are the Forts open? We don't arrive until 2:00pm.

Head to the forts first (unless you are not interested). If the weather is good (hopefully it will be) there should be lots of people on the large open grass space in front of El Morro flying kites - it's a weekly tradition and impressive.

Then head down into OSJ and wander around.

Late afternoon, early eveing the area close to the cruise ship piers should be lively with local music and artisans.

Have a great time

Thanks Ray and Coqui. I was hoping that some stores in OSJ would be open with two or more major cruise ships in port each Sunday. I always stop into Gems and Pearls to say hello to Alex. I also love the Puerto Rico Artisans Association store for the Santos. I must add to my collection.

Bon Voyage
