But you have to go to, I believe, the pursers desk (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and ask for them to be removed right when you get onboard. On the side by side balconies we have had the partitions can be opened, partially obstructing the cabin window but not entirely removed. If you want them opened the above posters are correct.
